Thu Oct 10 18:10:00 UTC 2024: ## TV2 Revamps Lineup for Norway’s Nations League Matches

**OSLO, Norway** – TV2 is making several changes to its coverage of Norway’s upcoming Nations League matches against Slovenia and Austria.

The most significant change is the addition of Yaw Ihle Amankwah, a familiar face from Eliteserien broadcasts, as a football expert. Amankwah will replace Morten Langli, who is currently on vacation, for the next two games.

“We have a lot of faith in Yaw,” said Eystein Thue, TV2’s creative leader for football. “He’s fearless, up-to-date, and passionately engaged in Norwegian football, including the national team.”

Another notable change is the relocation of Egil “Drillo” Olsen, the former Norway manager. Olsen, who will be 82 this year, will have his own dedicated studio with a view on the Ullevaal Stadium, offering analysis alongside Ingrid Halstensen and a special guest.

Øyvind Alsaker, who was absent from the September games due to illness, returns as the main commentator, joined by Jesper Mathisen.

“Drillo has a burning interest in the national team,” Thue said about his longevity as an expert. “He’s with us as long as he brings value to the broadcasts and finds it enjoyable and meaningful.”

There is a sense of optimism surrounding the Norwegian team after their surprise victory over Austria in September, which could be a turning point for the squad.

“For the first time in two and a half years, there’s a different feeling going into a national team period,” said TV2 commentator Marius Skjelbæk. “We are going into these games with a different boost and approach.”

The winner of the Nations League group will gain an extra chance to qualify for the 2026 World Cup.
