**New Delhi, India –** Craft-driven clothing brand Péro will open Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) on October 9th in New Delhi. The runway show marks the label’s 15th anniversary and promises a celebration of Indian heritage and handwoven textiles.

Péro’s founder and designer, Aneeth Arora, described the collection as “a celebration of our collective childhood nostalgia reinterpreted in our own quirky style. Think cottage core but with a twist.” The brand, known for its intricate embellishments, youthful nostalgia, and modern interpretations of heritage craft techniques, will showcase these signature elements throughout the show.

“We are thrilled to unveil Aneeth Arora’s péro as the opening act,” said Sunanda Khaitan, Lakmé’s vice president. “This collection blends Indian heritage with modern flair, and is sure to captivate audiences worldwide.”

The opening show will kick off Lakmé Fashion Week x FDCI, which will take place from October 9th to 13th at The Grand in New Delhi. This year’s theme is “Breathe in the bloom,” emphasizing the vibrancy and optimism of the season.
