**Faridabad, Haryana:** Vipul Goel of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been elected as the MLA for the Faridabad Assembly constituency in the 2024 Haryana Assembly elections. Goel secured a decisive victory, defeating Lakhan Kumar Singla of the Indian National Congress (INC) by a margin of 48,388 votes.

This win marks a continued BJP dominance in the constituency, as Goel previously won the seat in 2014. The BJP has held the Faridabad seat since 2009, except for a brief period in 2019 when Narender Gupta of the BJP won.

The voter turnout in Faridabad was recorded at 53.74%, slightly higher than the 2019 turnout of 49.63%.

The Faridabad Assembly constituency is part of the Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency, which has also been consistently held by the BJP since 2009. In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Krishan Pal of the BJP won the Faridabad seat, defeating Mahender Pratap Singh of the INC.

Eight candidates contested the Faridabad Assembly seat in the 2024 elections.
