Tue Oct 08 18:27:03 UTC 2024: ## BJP Government in UP Accused of Injustice, Atrocities, and Fake Encounters: Jan Adhikar Party
**Prayagraj:** The Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) has accused the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh of perpetrating injustice, atrocities, and fake encounters. Addressing a party workers’ conference in Prayagraj, JAP leader and MP, Babu Singh Kushwaha, stated that the government has failed to uphold the constitutional rights enshrined by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
Kushwaha cited incidents in Fatehpur, Mathura, and Jaunpur to highlight the alleged apathy of the state government towards the plight of marginalized communities. He further accused the government of deliberately favoring specific groups in the 69,000 teacher recruitment process, claiming that reservations were disregarded and quotas for the OBC and SC categories were cut.
Kushwaha called for a change in government to ensure the rights and development of underprivileged sections of society. He urged party workers to ensure a resounding victory for JAP or its alliance partners in the upcoming by-elections, emphasizing that this would be crucial for safeguarding their rights and securing reservations.
The conference was addressed by several JAP leaders, including state president Chandrasen Pal, state general secretary Ramesh Chandra Yadav, national general secretary Lakhan Singh Pasi, and national spokesperson Gyan Prakash. The program was coordinated by the state president of the JAP youth wing, Pankaj Manu Vishwakarma.
