**[City, Date]** – Chinese electric car manufacturer Xpeng has continued its European expansion by launching its vehicles in Portugal and Spain. This marks a significant step for the company, which now offers its G6 and G9 electric SUVs and P7 saloon in three European countries: Germany, Spain, and Portugal.

Xpeng celebrated the launch with events in Madrid on September 25th and Lisbon on September 26th, showcasing its electric vehicle lineup, including its futuristic flying electric car concept, the X2.

The company’s entry into the Iberian Peninsula is facilitated by a partnership with the Salvador Caetano Group, the largest car dealership group in the region. The group will handle sales in both countries.

Xpeng has already begun developing a sales and after-sales network in Spain, with ten dealerships planned for major cities like Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, and Malaga. In Portugal, Xpeng has opened two points of sale in Lisbon and Porto, with plans to expand to seven dealers by year-end and fifteen by 2025.

“We are deeply committed to the European market, which is undergoing a transformation in electric and smart mobility,” said Brian Gu, Vice Chairman and President of Xpeng. “We are excited about our ongoing efforts to expand our presence in the region, as demonstrated by our partnership with the Salvador Caetano Group.”

Xpeng first entered the European market in Norway in 2019 and has since expanded to other countries, including Germany in May 2024. The company’s European lineup currently includes the P7 saloon, G9 SUV, and G6 SUV.
