**Mumbai, India -** Vedanta Limited has announced record-breaking aluminium production in the second quarter and first half of fiscal year 2024-25, ending September 30. The company’s aluminium production in Q2 FY2025 reached 609,000 tonnes, representing a 2.18% increase from the previous quarter and a 2.53% year-on-year growth.
This impressive performance brought the total aluminium production for the first half of FY2025 to 1.205 million tonnes, making it the highest-ever half-yearly production for Vedanta.

The company attributes these positive results to its ongoing commitment to operational efficiencies and its strategic focus on key business segments. Vedanta aims to achieve a $10 billion EBITDA in the future, with significant contributions from aluminium, zinc and silver, and oil and gas.
