**Mumbai, India** – The highly anticipated Bollywood film “Singham Again” is set to bring together a galaxy of stars, promising an action-packed Diwali release. The film, the fifth installment in director Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, will see the return of fan-favorites Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham and Ranveer Singh as Simmba, along with Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi.
Joining the star-studded cast is Kareena Kapoor Khan, reprising her role as Avni Kamat, Singham’s wife, who is being portrayed as a modern-day Sita. Kapoor Khan expressed her honour at representing the character, thanking Shetty and Devgn for the opportunity.
“Ramayana is incomplete without Sita and a Rohit Shetty film is incomplete without Kareena,” Kapoor Khan stated during the trailer launch.
The film boasts an intriguing plotline that weaves the epic tale of Ramayana into the cop universe. Devgn explained that the script, which marries the classic story with the characters, drew him to the project.
“The scale on which this picture was shot… It’s been over a year,” Devgn added, highlighting the film’s grand production.
New additions to the cast include Deepika Padukone as Lady Singham, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, who plays a Ravan-like antagonist.
Shetty revealed that the film is a “modern-day interpretation of Ramayana,” with a unique blend of action and drama.
“Singham Again” promises to be a Diwali treat, with its star-studded cast, high-octane action sequences, and an intriguing Ramayana connection. The film, produced by Jio Studios, is set to hit theaters on November 1.
