**PORTAGE TOWNSHIP, Ind.** – A Burger King employee in Indiana found herself the victim of a customer’s frustration over a slow food order. Rosalie Carrillo, 34, of Hammond, Indiana, was arrested on Friday and faces a criminal battery charge after allegedly attacking the employee.
According to police reports, Carrillo became irate while waiting in the drive-thru lane and entered the restaurant to demand faster service. After a verbal altercation, Carrillo allegedly threw a drink and ketchup packets at the employee, then physically assaulted her, pulling her hair and pushing her to the ground. The employee sustained multiple scratches on her neck and a small cut on her arm.
Carrillo fled the scene but was located a short distance away. She admitted to becoming upset over the wait and entering the restaurant hoping to speed up the process. She confirmed throwing the drink and ketchup and knocking the employee’s phone out of her hand, but claimed the employee then attacked her.
