**Bhiwani, Haryana:** The counting of votes for the 2024 Haryana Assembly elections is underway, with all eyes focused on the Bhiwani seat. The BJP’s incumbent candidate, Ghanshyam Sarraf, is vying for his fourth consecutive term in the seat, facing stiff competition from Karamvir Yadav of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) and Om Prakash of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

Bhiwani has been a highly contested seat in previous elections. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Sarraf, representing the BJP, emerged victorious, defeating Dr. Shiv Shankar Bharadwaj of the Jannayak Janta Party.
