**Lucknow:** Samajwadi Party (SP) President Akhilesh Yadav launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday, accusing the ruling party of abusing power and engaging in conspiracies for political gains.
“The BJP has crossed all limits of conspiracy and intrigue. They are tearing apart the Constitution and the principles of democracy,” Yadav alleged, highlighting the BJP’s alleged disregard for democratic values.
Yadav further criticized the BJP’s governance as anti-people, pointing to rising injustice, atrocities, and discrimination. “Inflation, unemployment, and corruption are at their peak, while the poor are struggling for justice,” he stated.
The SP leader claimed that people’s problems are only escalating under the BJP government, and the party has left no stone unturned in ruining the state. He urged SP leaders to strengthen the party at the grassroots level, urging them to appoint agents at booth levels and raise the issues of farmers, youth, and the poor.
“We must stand firmly against BJP’s policies and help the poor and the oppressed get justice,” Yadav emphasized.
The SP announced that a delegation will visit Aligarh on Tuesday to meet the family of Avinash Singh, a Khatik community member who was recently shot dead. The delegation will include SP MLA Dr. Ragini Sonkar, Dr. Rajpal Kashyap, former MP Chaudhary Bijendra Singh, and other officials.
