**Ambala, Haryana:** The Congress party has secured a resounding victory in Ambala district, winning three out of four seats in the recent state assembly elections.
Anil Vij of the BJP emerged victorious in Ambala Cantt, securing 59,858 votes. He narrowly defeated Independent candidate Chitra Sarwara, who received 52,581 votes.
However, Congress candidates dominated the remaining seats. In Ambala City, Shaily Chaudhary secured a comfortable win with 62,180 votes, defeating BJP’s Pawan Saini by a margin of 15,094 votes.
In Mulana, Congress candidate Pooja secured 79,089 votes, defeating BJP’s Santosh Sarwan by a substantial margin of 12,865 votes.
This victory marks a significant setback for the BJP in Ambala district, which has been a stronghold for the party in previous elections. The Congress’s triumph is seen as a major boost to its campaign in the state.
