**Dubai, UAE:** The Indian Women’s Cricket Team finally opened their account in the T20 World Cup 2024, securing a six-wicket victory over arch-rivals Pakistan. The victory, achieved in 18.5 overs, pushed India to the fourth spot in the group table, while Pakistan remains in third.

India, coming off a crushing defeat against New Zealand in their opening match, needed a win to improve their net run rate. Despite struggling to score boundaries, the team managed to chase down the target of 106 set by Pakistan.
