**Kochi:** Gang leader Om Prakash and his associate Shihas were granted bail by the Ernakulam Magistrate Court in a drug case. The court granted bail as there was no evidence to prove the use of cocaine.
The case initially garnered attention due to reports of an investigation into the involvement of film actors Sreenath Bhasi and Prayaga Martin.
Kochi DCP S. Sudarshan assured that the drug case against Om Prakash will be thoroughly investigated. The police are planning to question all individuals mentioned in the remand report, including the collection of blood samples for further examination. The suspects will be questioned again.
The DCP also revealed that the police are investigating a DJ party that took place in Kochi and have sent the seized drugs for detailed analysis.
Om Prakash’s lawyer maintained that the allegations against his client are just accusations. While the police claim a cover containing cocaine was seized, the quantity of the drug has not been revealed. The lawyer also stated that the police only included clauses for granting bail in the case.
The investigation into this case continues, with the police determined to uncover the full extent of the drug operation and bring the perpetrators to justice.
