**COLOMBO, SRI LANKA** – West Indies will be without several key players for their upcoming tour of Sri Lanka, with Andre Russell, Nicholas Pooran, Akeal Hosein, and Shimron Hetmyer all opting out for personal reasons. The absence of these senior players has opened the door for a new generation of talent to showcase their abilities.

Head coach Darren Sammy has named revamped squads for both the T20I and ODI series, featuring a mix of experienced players and exciting newcomers. The tour provides an opportunity to assess depth and test different players in crucial situations.
