**Gwalior, India:** India made a strong start to their T20I series against Bangladesh, winning the first match convincingly by a large margin. The hosts bowled out Bangladesh for a paltry 127 runs, thanks to impressive performances from Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy.

Arshdeep Singh, who made his T20I debut with a maiden over, took three wickets for just 14 runs, including two early dismissals that set the tone for the match. Varun Chakravarthy chipped in with a crucial three-wicket haul of his own, taking 3 for 31.

Mayank Yadav, also making his T20I debut, impressed with a maiden over, joining a select group of Indian bowlers to achieve this feat. He finished with figures of 1 for 21.

Najmul Hossain Shanto top-scored for Bangladesh with 27 runs, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz contributed 35. However, the Bangladesh batting line-up struggled against the Indian bowling attack and failed to build any significant partnerships.

With a comfortable victory, India have taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The second T20I will be played on November 3rd in Rajkot.
