**Mumbai, India** – The critically acclaimed mystery thriller “Andhadhun,” starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Tabu, has celebrated its sixth anniversary today. To mark the occasion, both actors took to social media to express their fondness for the film.
Ayushmann Khurrana shared a special animated video on Instagram, highlighting key scenes and characters from the film. He captioned the post, “6 years have passed, but the suspense is still alive! #6YearsOfAndhadhun.” Fans flooded the comments section with requests for a sequel, with many expressing their continued fascination with the film’s twists and turns.
Tabu, known for her powerful performances, simply shared the poster of the film on her Instagram, generating a wave of nostalgia amongst her followers.
Directed by Sriram Raghavan, “Andhadhun” garnered immense praise from audiences and critics alike, becoming a box office hit. The film, which tells the story of a blind piano player who gets entangled in a murder, was also adapted into Telugu as “Maestro” and Malayalam as “Bhramam”.
Ayushmann Khurrana’s performance in the film earned him the National Film Award for Best Actor in 2019. He is currently slated to appear in Meghna Gulzar’s upcoming film “Daayra” alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan.
Meanwhile, Tabu is gearing up for her international foray with the highly anticipated series “Dune: Prophecy.” Set 10,000 years before the events of the recent “Dune” films, the series will follow two Harkonnen sisters who battle against forces that threaten humanity. The show, co-produced by Max and Legendary Television, is slated to premiere on HBO and stream on Max.
Tabu’s most recent Bollywood appearance was in the romantic thriller “Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha” alongside Ajay Devgn and Jimmy Sheirgill.
