Sat Oct 05 05:47:49 UTC 2024: ## PM Kisan Samman Nidhi 18th Installment: 9.4 Crore Farmers to Receive Rs. 20,000 Crore Today

**New Delhi:** Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme today, benefitting over 9.4 crore farmers across the country. The transfer of over Rs. 20,000 crore to farmers’ bank accounts will take place during an event in Washim, Maharashtra, where the Prime Minister is on a visit.

In addition to the PM Kisan installment, PM Modi will also launch several other initiatives related to the agricultural sector. This includes the fifth installment of the ‘Namo Shetkari Mahasammelan Nidhi Yojana’, which will benefit farmers in Maharashtra with an additional Rs. 2,000 crore. He will also dedicate 7,516 completed projects under the Prime Minister Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) to the nation.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister will dedicate 9,200 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to the nation and launch the ‘E-distribution of Social Development Grants to Gram Panchayats’ and five solar parks under the MSKVVY 2.0 scheme.

The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme provides financial assistance of Rs. 6,000 per year to eligible farmer families, distributed in three installments of Rs. 2,000 each. The scheme has already disbursed 17 installments, amounting to a total of Rs. 34,000 per farmer family since its inception.

To receive the benefit of the PM Kisan scheme, it is mandatory for registered farmers to complete their KYC. Farmers who haven’t completed their e-KYC will not receive the installment.

1. Visit the official PM Kisan website.
2. Access the beneficiary list page.
3. Select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village.
4. Click on ‘Get Report’ and check the beneficiary list for your name.

The release of the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme is expected to provide much-needed financial support to farmers across the country, particularly during the ongoing agricultural season.
