**New Delhi, India:** Nissan India today launched the refreshed Magnite compact SUV, sporting a new look and a suite of enhanced features, while retaining its competitive starting price of INR 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The updated Magnite maintains its previous powertrain options, including a 1.0-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine (72 PS, 96 Nm) and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine (99 PS, 160 Nm). Transmission choices remain the same, with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT for the naturally-aspirated engine and a 5-speed manual and CVT for the turbo-petrol engine.

The refreshed Magnite boasts a new hexagonal blacked-out grille, redesigned 16-inch alloy wheels, and M-shaped LED taillights. Inside, a new three-tone color scheme with fresh upholstery and soft-touch materials elevates the interior. Key features include a touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, a configurable TFT instrument cluster, and a new air purifier.

Safety has been significantly bolstered with the inclusion of six airbags as standard, bringing the total safety features to 55, 40 of which are standard. The Magnite facelift also introduces a new i-key for remote vehicle start within a 60-meter radius.

“The Magnite has been a huge success for Nissan India, with over 150,000 units sold since its launch in 2020,” said a spokesperson for Nissan India. “We are confident that the refreshed model, with its attractive design, advanced features, and enhanced safety, will continue to attract customers in India and beyond.”

The refreshed Nissan Magnite will be manufactured in India and exported to over 65 international markets, featuring right-hand drive (RHD) and left-hand drive (LHD) variants. While the model will largely remain the same globally, it may have some variations based on country-specific regulations.

The introductory price of INR 5.99 lakh for the base variant is applicable for the first 10,000 units delivered. The top-spec variant is priced at INR 11.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
