Fri Oct 04 18:59:22 UTC 2024: ## Knights Spinners Spin Web to Bowl Out Boland for 141

**Paarl, South Africa -** The Knights claimed a comfortable victory over the Goldrush Boland in the CSA T20 Challenge on Friday evening, bowling out their opponents for a paltry 141 runs at Boland Park.

Despite a sixth half-century in the competition for Grant Roelofsen, the Boland innings ultimately crumbled under pressure from the Knights’ spinners. Roelofsen, who scored 50 runs off 38 balls, was given a helping hand by some wayward deliveries early on, but the Knights bowlers fought back, keeping the hosts under control.

Clayton Bosch made the early breakthrough, dismissing Pieter Malan and Gavin Kaplan cheaply, before Roelofsen and captain Clyde Fortuin (24) combined for a quickfire 49-run stand. However, once Roelofsen reached his milestone, the innings fell apart.

The experienced Malusi Siboto used his guile to remove Ferisco Adams and Shaun von Berg, while Dane Piedt, who finished with figures of 4-0-18-2, picked up two key wickets, including that of Roelofsen.

Dian Forrester then capped off a dominant bowling performance with a hat-trick in the final over, dismissing Keith Dudgeon, Imraan Manack, and Siyabonga Mahima in quick succession to end the Boland innings.

The Knights, who won the toss and opted to field first, will now be looking to carry their momentum into their next match.
