WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER has praised Triple H for his unwavering support throughout his career, stating he wouldn’t be champion without the WWE CCO’s belief in him. In an interview with Metro, GUNTHER emphasized Triple H’s long-term vision and dedication to his chosen talents.
“He always supported me and saw something in me,” GUNTHER said. “I don’t know if I would be here without ever being more or less connected with Triple H in that sense.”
GUNTHER also highlighted Triple H’s crucial role as head of creative and matchmaker, comparing his position to that of a head coach in a football team.
When asked about working under former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, GUNTHER acknowledged creative differences, saying, “The creative ideas from his side, obviously, was never my kind of thing. But that’s subjective. It’s a taste thing.” However, he also acknowledged McMahon’s success, noting that his time under the former chairman was limited to only three and a half months.
