The news was shared by the CPL CEO, Pete Russell, expressing gratitude to both governments for their support.

Guyana will host the 2025 finals, marking a second consecutive year of hosting the event. President Mohammed Irfan Ali expressed his excitement, wishing the Guyana Amazon Warriors success in the upcoming tournament. Barbados will host the 2026 finals at the iconic Kensington Oval for the first time. Prime Minister Mia Mottley conveyed her enthusiasm, urging Barbados Royals to secure a spot in the finals this year and promising a victory at home in 2026.

The announcement comes as the reigning champions, Guyana Amazon Warriors, secured their place in the 2024 CPL final by defeating Barbados Royals in Providence on October 5th.
