**Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh:** A couple in Kanpur has been accused of defrauding elderly individuals by promising them age reversal through a fake time machine. Rajeev Kumar Dubey and his wife Rashmi Dubey, owners of a therapy center called ‘Revival World,’ claimed to possess a machine that could turn 60-year-olds into 25-year-olds.
The couple targeted senior citizens, claiming their ‘oxygen therapy’ could reverse the effects of aging. They offered a package of 10 sessions for ₹6000, assuring their clients that they would see visible results within months.
The couple, however, allegedly used misleading tactics, claiming that air pollution was a major cause of premature aging and that their oxygen therapy could combat it.
The scam was exposed when a woman named Renu Singh filed a complaint alleging that she had been cheated out of ₹10.75 lakh. She claims that the couple has defrauded hundreds of people, accumulating an estimated ₹35 crore from them.
The police have filed a case of cheating against the couple, who are believed to have fled the country.
This incident serves as a reminder to be wary of fraudulent claims and to always research any purported medical treatments thoroughly before investing.
