**New Delhi:** Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has vacated his official residence at Flagstaff Road and moved to a luxurious bungalow in the posh Lutyens Zone. He has shifted to the five-star bungalow on Ferozeshah Road, previously allotted to Punjab Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Mittal. Mr. Mittal has been allotted another residence in Central Delhi.
Kejriwal had announced his decision to vacate the CM house during the Devi Sharannvaratra festival and kept his word, moving out on Friday. He had resigned as CM after being released on bail on September 13th, stating he would only return to power if people believed in his honesty and voted him back into office during the Delhi Assembly elections scheduled for February.
The move comes as a surprise to many as Kejriwal had faced criticism for his opulent lifestyle while claiming to represent the common man.
