Wed Oct 02 20:16:49 UTC 2024: ## BRS Minister Accuses KTR of Drug Use, Phone Tapping, and Orchestrating Samantha-Chaitanya Divorce
**Hyderabad, India:** In a sensational press conference, Telangana Minister for Endowments, Environment, and Forests, Konda Surekha, has levelled serious accusations against BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao, claiming he is responsible for the divorce of popular actors Samantha and Naga Chaitanya. Surekha further alleged that Rama Rao was involved in illicit activities such as drug use and phone tapping during his time as a minister in the previous BRS government.
“Rama Rao was a drug addict and was involved in phone tapping of film actresses,” Surekha stated. She claimed he took narcotics, got addicted to drugs, and participated in rave parties. She alleged that he used phone tapping to blackmail actresses and “played with their lives”.
The minister also accused Rama Rao of introducing actresses to drugs, making them addicted. She cited the example of actress Rakul Preet Singh, alleging she married early and left the industry due to this.
The most explosive allegation, however, was in connection with Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s divorce. Surekha asserted, “Rama Rao is 100 per cent responsible for their divorce.” She further alleged that Rama Rao demanded Samantha be sent to him in exchange for not demolishing N-Convention, a property owned by Naga Chaitanya’s father, actor Nagarjuna. “Nagarjuna’s family forced Samantha to go with Rama Rao. When she refused, it led to her being forced out of the family home, resulting in the divorce,” Surekha claimed.
The minister also hinted at ongoing investigations into phone tapping during the BRS regime, which she claimed will reveal more damning evidence about Rama Rao’s illegal activities.
In another allegation, Surekha accused Rama Rao of running the BRS social media wing from Dubai, specifically targeting female Congress leaders, including women ministers. “I have information that Rama Rao sent two members to Dubai yesterday and two more today to attack women Congress leaders on social media,” she claimed.
Rama Rao has not yet responded to these allegations. The accusations, if true, would be a major blow to his political career and raise serious questions about his conduct while in office.
