JoBlo Horror Originals’ “The Best Scene” series continues with a look at the 1990 slasher sequel Child’s Play 2. Lance Vlcek, the series host, picks the climactic chase through a doll factory as the standout scene.
The film, directed by John Lafia, sees the return of the possessed Chucky doll, who is intent on claiming a human body. The killer doll, played by Brad Dourif, seeks out his former owner Andy, who is now living in a foster home. The scene chosen by Vlcek involves a tense, action-packed chase through a doll factory, where Chucky encounters Andy and his foster sister, Kyle.

In other horror news, Netflix has released a trailer for “Time Cut,” a “Back to the Future meets Scream” slasher movie with an October release date.
“Salem’s Lot” – the 1979 miniseries adaptation of Stephen King’s novel – is being revisited in a new series. “Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror,” a remix of the original film starring Doug Jones, is set for an Apple TV+ release this month.
New featurettes are also out for “Smile 2” and “The Forest Hills,” and “Shocker” – Wes Craven’s 1989 slasher – is getting a 4K Blu-ray release.
