Despite a broader market downturn, three companies made strong debuts on the stock exchange on Monday, signaling positive investor sentiment.
Manba Finance, a microfinance company, listed with a 25% gain on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), closing at ₹157. The company’s IPO was oversubscribed by 224 times, reflecting strong investor confidence.
“The strong listing of Manba Finance reflects the company’s robust growth and positive financial metrics,” said Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart. However, she cautioned investors to remain cautious, given the company’s operating in a competitive market with inherent risks.
The SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) exchange also witnessed positive listings. The Rappid Valves stock opened 40% higher on the NSE Emerge, closing at ₹315. Similarly, Wol India 3D debuted with a 20% premium, closing at ₹189.
This week, a total of 12 companies, having raised ₹1,052 crore through IPOs, are expected to be listed on the main board and SME exchange. While the market is currently facing challenges, these strong debuts suggest that investors continue to be optimistic about select companies and sectors.
