**Pune, Maharashtra:** A private helicopter crashed near Bavdhan Budruk village in Pune on Wednesday morning, killing three people on board. The incident occurred around 6:45 AM near a hilly area in the Bavdhan region, according to police.
The helicopter, believed to have been operated by the Wadhwans, took off from the Oxford Golf Club helipad and crashed approximately 1.5 kilometers away. Reports suggest the two pilots and an engineer on board perished in the crash.
The helicopter caught fire immediately after impact, raising concerns about the cause of the accident. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident, with poor weather and low visibility being considered as possible factors.
Emergency response teams, including fire department vehicles and ambulances, were quickly deployed to the scene. Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Chaubey confirmed the arrival of his teams at the crash site.
