**New Delhi:** BMW Motorrad has officially launched its electric scooter, the CE 02, in India, priced at Rs 4,49,900 (ex-showroom). This minimalist yet futuristic scooter, designed in Munich and manufactured in Hosur by TVS Motor Company, promises a unique urban mobility experience.

The CE 02 features a flat, skateboard-like seat, a double-loop tubular steel frame, and wide tires mounted on cast aluminum wheels. It boasts a 11 kW electric motor delivering 55 Nm of torque, propelling the 142 kg scooter to a top speed of 95 kmph.

The CE 02’s 3.9 kWh battery pack offers a claimed range of 108 kilometers and can be charged from 20% to 80% in 102 minutes using the standard 900 W charger. The scooter comes with two riding modes: Flow and Surf, while a sportier “Flash” mode is available with the optional Highline package.

Safety features include ABS on the front wheel, automatic stability control (ASC), and recuperation stability control (RSC). Other notable features include a 3.5-inch TFT display, USB-C charging socket, and an electric reverse gear.
