**Hyderabad, October 2, 2024:** Telangana Forest and Environment Minister Konda Surekha has levelled serious allegations against KTR, the working president of the ruling BRS party. During a speech at a Gandhi Jayanti event in Bapu Ghat, Surekha claimed that KTR introduced drugs to several actresses and himself used them.
“KTR has no respect for women,” she said, further alleging that he was behind the hurried marriage of certain actresses, specifically citing Rakul Preet Singh. She alleged that KTR recorded private conversations of these actresses and used them to coerce them into submission.
The minister asserted that this information is known to many within the film industry. She did not provide any specific evidence to support her claims. This accusation has sparked outrage and calls for an investigation.
