**Jamshedpur:** On the eve of Gandhi Jayanti, Jamshedpur’s Sadar Hospital held a comprehensive discussion on the “Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign” led by Civil Surgeon Dr. Saher Paul. All staff, employees, and patients at the hospital took an oath to abstain from tobacco use and to discourage others from consuming it.
Dr. Paul emphasized the severe health risks associated with tobacco, stating that it is a poison that leads to numerous serious illnesses including cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure, and liver problems. He urged everyone to quit tobacco consumption, emphasizing the importance of contributing to the well-being of oneself, their families, and society as a whole.
