**Greater Noida:** In a heartwarming celebration commemorating Gandhi Jayanti, Shastri Jayanti, and International Day of Older Persons, the “Khushiyon Ki Aur” Old Age Home in Greater Noida was treated to a special bhajan evening organized by the Gurukul Music Foundation. The event was further enhanced by the support of A to Z Foundation.
The evening featured renowned musicians Anand Mishra and Upendra Kumar, captivating the audience with soulful renditions of Mahatma Gandhi’s favorite bhajans, including “Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye” and “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram.” The program also included a special music therapy session designed to promote mental peace and tranquility for the elderly residents.
The event began with the paying of respects to Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri through the offering of floral tributes. Social activist Sanjay Srivastava extended his generosity by distributing fruits and biscuits among the residents.
“Where there is the presence of the elderly, there is always prosperity and peace,” expressed musician Anand Mishra, emphasizing the importance of respecting and caring for senior citizens.
The director of the “Khushiyon Ki Aur” Old Age Home, Ashok Kumar, echoed this sentiment, stating, “The elderly are the legacy of our families and society. We must make every effort to ensure their happiness.”
