**Ajmer, October 1:** The city of Ajmer will be celebrating the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on October 2nd. The event, known as “Samaroh Jayanti,” will feature various tributes and ceremonies.
According to committee secretary, Prahlad Mathur, a special tribute will be held at the Kayastha crematorium on Pushkar Road at 11:00 AM. This will be followed by a gathering at the Shri Digambar Jain Mahasamiti Women’s and Children’s Charitable Hospital at 11:30 AM.
The event is expected to draw a large crowd of residents and dignitaries who will pay their respects to the late Prime Minister.
