**Aragon, Spain** – Alvaro Bautista continued his dominance at Aragon, claiming his second win of the day in the WorldSBK Race 2, extending his lead in the championship standings. The Ducati rider showcased impressive late-race pace, holding off a determined Toprak Razgatlioglu who, in a stunning display of resilience, secured a second-place finish in his comeback race after a serious crash.

Bautista started from pole position and took the lead from the start, despite attempts from Razgatlioglu and Andrea Iannone. Razgatlioglu managed to close the gap and challenge Bautista, but the Ducati rider was too strong in the final stages, crossing the finish line 3.366 seconds ahead.

Nicolo Bulega, despite a challenging weekend, secured a respectable third place, ahead of Iannone in fourth. Garrett Gerloff had a strong ride, finishing fifth ahead of Danilo Petrucci and Michael van der Mark.

Razgatlioglu’s performance marked a triumphant return to the track. The Turkish rider displayed incredible speed and determination, setting a new race lap record at Aragon. “The satisfaction of this result remains,” Razgatlioglu said. “A podium is always a podium.”

The WorldSBK championship now heads to Estoril for the penultimate round, where Bautista will look to continue his impressive form and secure the title.
