Tue Oct 01 04:51:23 UTC 2024: ## Sanju Samson Heads to Rajasthan Royals HPC to Sharpen T20 Skills Ahead of Bangladesh Series
**Nagpur, India** – With the India vs Bangladesh T20I series kicking off in less than a week, wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson has begun his preparations at the Rajasthan Royals High Performance Centre in Nagpur. The move comes after a recent run of form in first-class cricket, where Samson hit his first century in nearly five years during the Duleep Trophy.
Samson, who has struggled in recent T20I appearances, is keen to prove his worth in the shortest format. His last two outings, against Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka, saw him fail to make an impact. However, his recent success in the Duleep Trophy suggests he could be rediscovering his form.
His focus now shifts to the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh, where he faces competition from the likes of Jitesh Sharma, who has been selected as the second wicketkeeper. Samson will be looking to impress and secure a place in the squad ahead of the return of Rishabh Pant.
The 15-man squad for the Bangladesh series includes: Suryakumar Yadav (c), Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson (wk), Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya, Riyan Parag, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Varun Chakaravarthy, Jitesh Sharma (wk), Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, and Mayank Yadav.
