Tue Oct 01 16:37:13 UTC 2024: ## Former Iranian President Accuses Mossad of Infiltrating Intelligence Unit, Stealing Nuclear Secrets

**Tehran, Iran:** In a shocking revelation, former Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has accused Israel’s intelligence agency, Mossad, of successfully infiltrating Iran’s intelligence unit and stealing crucial nuclear secrets. Ahmadinejad made these claims in an interview with CNN Turk, where he detailed Mossad’s alleged operations and the extent of their influence within Iranian intelligence.

“Mossad has successfully turned our intelligence units against us,” Ahmadinejad stated, claiming that senior intelligence officials were among those compromised. He alleged that around 20 intelligence personnel became double agents, providing sensitive information on Iran’s nuclear program to Israel.

Ahmadinejad also revealed that a senior Iranian intelligence official was exposed as a Mossad spy in 2021, highlighting the deep penetration of the Israeli agency within Iran’s intelligence apparatus. He described Mossad’s activities as “ruthless” and claimed they had been able to easily extract crucial information, even infiltrating secret facilities.

This revelation comes amidst growing concerns about Mossad’s escalating activities in Iran. In 2018, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly displayed what he claimed were 100,000 nuclear documents stolen by Mossad from Iran, highlighting the importance of these secrets.

Ahmadinejad’s accusations have sparked discussions about the security of Iran’s intelligence apparatus. The claims, if true, suggest a serious breach of security and raise questions about the effectiveness of Iran’s counterintelligence efforts.

While the Iranian government has not yet commented on Ahmadinejad’s claims, this revelation has added fuel to the already tense relationship between Iran and Israel.
