**KANPUR:** India’s batsmen unleashed a ferocious assault on the Bangladesh bowling attack on Monday, igniting a thrilling contest at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur. After two rain-affected days, India’s aggressive approach brought the match back to life, offering a glimmer of hope for a potential victory.

India, resuming the day at 107/3, declared their innings at a record-breaking 285/9, scoring the fastest team 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 in men’s Test history. Captain Rohit Sharma led the charge with a blistering 23 off just 11 balls, while Yashasvi Jaiswal (72 off 51) and Virat Kohli (47 off 35) continued the momentum. The Indian bowlers continued their dominance, dismissing Bangladesh for 233. Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj took three and two wickets respectively, while Ravindra Jadeja claimed his 300th Test wicket, becoming the third left-arm spinner to achieve the milestone.
