**SEOUL, South Korea -** Hyundai Motor Company reached a significant milestone today, producing its 100 millionth vehicle just 57 years after its founding. This remarkable achievement, accomplished in a relatively short timeframe, places Hyundai among the fastest-growing auto manufacturers globally.

To commemorate this historic moment, Hyundai held a ceremony at its Ulsan Plant in Korea, where the 100 millionth vehicle, an IONIQ 5 electric SUV, was delivered directly to a customer. The company highlighted this milestone as a testament to its unwavering commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

“Reaching global cumulative production of 100 million vehicles is a meaningful milestone made possible thanks to our customers around the world,” said Jaehoon Chang, President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Company. “We will continue to push boundaries and innovate to take ‘one step further’ toward another 100 million units as a mobility game changer.”

The achievement reflects Hyundai’s rapid growth, driven by the launch of its premium brand Genesis, the high-performance N brand, and the introduction of electric vehicles like the IONIQ 5, built on the dedicated electric global modular platform (E-GMP).

“This auspicious occasion marks just the first step toward the future era of electrification that Hyundai Motor will lead,” stated Dong Seock Lee, President and Head of Domestic Productions and Chief Safety Officer at Hyundai Motor Company.
