**NEW YORK, NY** – FIFA has officially announced the 12 stadiums that will host the inaugural 32-team Club World Cup in 2025. The tournament, taking place from June 15 to July 13, will see the world’s best club teams battle it out for the coveted title, with the final being held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Eleven other stadiums across the United States will host matches throughout the competition: Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta), Bank of America Stadium (Charlotte, North Carolina), TQL Stadium (Cincinnati), Rose Bowl Stadium (Los Angeles), Hard Rock Stadium (Miami), GEODIS Park (Nashville, Tennessee), Camping World Stadium (Orlando, Florida), Inter&Co Stadium (Orlando), Lincoln Financial Field (Philadelphia), Lumen Field (Seattle) and Audi Field (Washington, D.C.).
FIFA President Gianni Infantino expressed excitement about the tournament, stating, “Football is the most popular sport on the planet, and in 2025 a new era for club football will kick off… The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will feature 12 fantastic stadiums where a new chapter in football’s global history will be written by great players from the 32 best clubs in the world.”
The draw for the tournament will take place in December, with teams from across the globe vying for the title. European giants Real Madrid, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain are among the 31 teams already qualified. The Seattle Sounders are the only MLS team currently slated to participate, along with three Liga MX clubs.
Man City, the reigning champions after defeating Fluminense in the 2023 edition in Saudi Arabia, will be looking to defend their title on American soil. The identity of the US host club for the tournament is yet to be revealed, sparking speculation that the current Supporters’ Shield leaders, Miami, may be in contention.
