Tue Oct 01 03:49:42 UTC 2024: ## Jaddu Achieves Historic Milestone: 300 Test Wickets!

**Kanpur, India:** Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja achieved a historic milestone in the ongoing second Test against Bangladesh, becoming only the second fastest Asian player to reach both 3000 runs and 300 wickets in Test cricket.

Jadeja reached the milestone by dismissing Khalid Ahmed in the second innings. The 34-year-old all-rounder now holds the record for being the second-fastest player in Test history to achieve this double feat.

Jadeja, who made his Test debut in December 2012 against England, has played 74 Tests and has 3122 runs, including four centuries, and 300 wickets. He is also the third Indian to achieve this feat after Kapil Dev and Harbhajan Singh.

The left-arm spinner has been in exceptional form, having taken a five-wicket haul in the first Test in Chennai. His consistent performance has made him a vital asset to the Indian team, particularly in the longer format.

After announcing his retirement from T20 cricket earlier this year, Jadeja remains a crucial part of India’s Test and ODI plans.

With his recent achievements, Jadeja continues to cement his place as one of the greatest all-rounders in the history of Test cricket.
