**Chennai:** India’s spin twins, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, are poised to achieve historic feats during the ongoing Test match against Bangladesh at the Greenpark Stadium.
Ashwin, currently on 29 wickets against Bangladesh, is just two wickets away from surpassing Zaheer Khan’s record of 31 wickets in Tests against the Asian nation. He got his first taste of success on Friday, dismissing Bangladesh captain Najmul Hasan Shanto in the first innings. A double-wicket haul on Saturday will see Ashwin etch his name into the record books.
Meanwhile, Jadeja, the all-rounder, is on the cusp of a remarkable achievement – 300 Test wickets. He is just one wicket shy of this milestone.
