**Hyderabad, September 30, 2024:** The long-awaited results for the Telangana District Selection Committee (DSC) 2024 exam were declared on Monday. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy released the general ranking list at the Secretariat at 11 AM. The district-wise list will be announced tomorrow. Certificate verification is expected to be held next month.

However, the website currently only displays marks and rankings. The merit cum roster selection list for each district will be forwarded to the District Educational Officers (DEOs) later.
The Telangana government had released a notification for 11,062 teacher vacancies in March this year. The exams were conducted from July 18th to August 5th, with over 2.45 lakh candidates appearing for the exam. This is the first time that the DSC exams were conducted online.
The final answer key was released on September 6th after receiving objections to the preliminary answer key.
The 11,062 posts include 2,629 School Assistants, 727 Language Pandits, 182 PETs, 6,508 SGTs, 220 Special Education School Assistants, and 796 SGT posts. The candidates will be selected based on their merit and reservation quota. The final selection list will be announced district-wise in a 1:3 ratio based on the general ranking list and reservation rules.
