**Faisalabad, Pakistan:** The Pakistan women’s netball team is set to participate in the upcoming Asian Netball Championship, scheduled to be held in Bangalore, India from October 18th to 27th.
The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has granted permission for the team’s participation, issuing a No Objection Certificate (NOC). The Pakistan Netball Federation (PNF) has also submitted visa applications for the team and officials, who are expected to travel to India in the coming weeks.
A total of 12 players and five officials are slated to represent Pakistan in the tournament. The PNF has submitted a budget for the championship to the PSB for approval.
Interestingly, several British-Pakistani athletes are being considered for inclusion in the squad. While these players have already begun training in the UK, the Pakistan-based players will resume their training camp once the budget is approved.
