Mon Sep 30 05:10:17 UTC 2024: ## Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s Richest Man, Earns Rs. 163 Crore Per Day
**Mumbai, India** – Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, remains the wealthiest person in Asia and the 12th richest in the world, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. With an estimated net worth of $116 billion, Ambani’s wealth is staggering.
A recent analysis reveals that Ambani earns a staggering Rs. 163 crore every day, a sum that would take an average Indian earning Rs. 4 lakh per year a staggering 1.74 crore years to accumulate.
Ambani’s wealth primarily comes from his stake in Reliance Industries, a conglomerate spanning various industries including petrochemicals, oil, telecom, and retail. He has also invested heavily in real estate, owning the opulent Antilia residence in Mumbai, estimated to be worth Rs. 15,000 crore.
While Ambani’s annual salary was reportedly around Rs. 15 crore, he has not taken a salary since the pandemic. His massive wealth has enabled him to host lavish family events, including his son Anant Ambani’s wedding, which reportedly cost a whopping Rs. 5,000 crore. He also owns a Boeing 737 Max aircraft, valued at around Rs. 1,000 crore.
This stands in stark contrast to the economic reality of many Indians. According to reports, nearly 24% of Indians earn just Rs. 3,000 per month. The stark disparity highlights the vast wealth gap in India.
