Lucknow Super Giants’ speedster Mayank Yadav, who impressed in his debut IPL season, has been rewarded with a maiden call-up to the Indian T20I squad for the upcoming series against Bangladesh.

The 22-year-old fast bowler turned heads with his blistering pace, consistently clocking over 155 kmph during the IPL 2024 tournament. In just four matches for LSG, Yadav claimed seven wickets at an impressive average of 12.14, including best figures of 3/14. His economical bowling, with an average of 6.99 runs per over, was among the best in the tournament.

Unfortunately, Yadav’s stint was cut short due to an injury. His impressive performances have earned him a well-deserved spot in the Indian T20I team, as he looks to make a strong impact on the international stage.
