**Katra, Jammu and Kashmir:** Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge experienced dizziness while addressing a public rally in Jasrota belt, Kathua district, on Sunday. The incident occurred during his visit to pay tribute to a Head Constable who was martyred in an anti-terrorist operation.

Sources within the Congress party confirmed that Kharge was feeling uneasy and dizzy while speaking at the rally. He was immediately assisted by his aides and made to sit down. His condition is reported to be stable, and doctors are currently attending to him.

Kharge was in Jammu and Kashmir to campaign for the upcoming assembly elections. He was scheduled to address another rally in Ramnagar, Udhampur district, but his participation in the event is now uncertain.

“He was addressing a public rally in Jasrota when he felt uneasy and started feeling dizzy. His associates helped him to sit down,” said Congress General Secretary Ghulam Ahmad Mir. “His condition is stable,” Mir added.

Jammu and Kashmir Congress Vice President Ravinder Sharma informed that Kharge was taken to a room after experiencing dizziness, where doctors were summoned for examination. He stated that doctors will advise on Kharge’s ability to attend the second rally.

The anti-terrorist operation in Kathua resulted in the death of a Head Constable and injuries to two other police personnel. One terrorist was also killed during the operation.
