**Hyderabad, September 30, 2024:** The Telangana State Government announced the results of the much-awaited ‘TG DSC-2024′ exam on Monday, September 30th. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy released the results, marking the culmination of a recruitment process that attracted over 2.45 lakh candidates.
The exam, conducted by the Department of Education, aimed to fill 11,062 teacher vacancies across the state. The recruitment process began in February with the release of the notification and concluded with the computer-based examinations held between July 18th and August 5th.
The results, accessible on the official website, display the candidates’ scores and ranks. The final merit list, considering reservation criteria, will be released by the District Education Officers (DEOs) after verification of certificates.
The recruitment drive saw intense competition for the coveted teacher posts. The highest competition was observed for the SGT (Secondary Grade Teacher) positions, with Vikarabad district recording the highest number of candidates vying for a single post.
The recruitment process included a rigorous selection procedure that considered the candidates’ performance in the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) along with their scores in the DSC exam.
