**New York, NY – September 28, 2024** – Several institutional investors, including Daymark Wealth Partners LLC, have recently made significant moves in the SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF Trust (DIA), indicating growing interest in the blue-chip index.
Daymark Wealth Partners LLC acquired a new position in DIA during the second quarter, purchasing 2,125 shares valued at approximately $831,000. This investment was followed by other institutions increasing their holdings, such as Point72 Europe London LLP, which grew its stake by 103.2% in the second quarter.
Toronto Dominion Bank also significantly increased its position in DIA, boosting it by 509.4% during the second quarter. Insigneo Advisory Services LLC and Semmax Financial Advisors Inc. also added to their DIA holdings, with increases of 24.9% and 1,880% respectively. Finally, Fairscale Capital LLC entered a new position in the ETF during the second quarter, investing approximately $70,000.
Overall, institutional investors and hedge funds currently own 37.11% of DIA’s outstanding shares.
DIA, which seeks to track the performance of the Dow Jones Industrial Average, opened at $422.93 on Friday, with a 50-day simple moving average of $407.76 and a 200-day simple moving average of $396.48. The ETF has traded between a 52-week low of $323.21 and a 52-week high of $426.20.
The recent activity by institutional investors suggests a continued confidence in the blue-chip sector, represented by the Dow Jones Industrial Average.
