**LUCKNOW, INDIA:** Rising Mumbai cricketer Musheer Khan has been ruled out of the upcoming Irani Cup clash with the Rest of India after sustaining injuries in a car accident on Friday. The 19-year-old, who is the younger brother of Indian batter Sarfaraz Khan, was traveling with his father and two others on the Purvanchal Expressway when their vehicle crashed into a divider and overturned.

Khan, a promising batsman, is expected to be sidelined for at least 16 weeks due to the injuries sustained in the accident. This news comes as a major blow to the Mumbai team, who were hoping for the youngster’s contributions in the prestigious Irani Cup, which is set to take place in Lucknow from October 1-5.
