**New Delhi, India** – Mayank Yadav, the 22-year-old pacer who bowled the fastest delivery in IPL 2024, has been included in the Indian squad for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh. Yadav, who was bought by the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for Rs 20 lakh in the IPL auction, will be returning to the national team after a spell on the sidelines due to an injury sustained during the IPL.
The series will begin in Gwalior on October 6th, and will see Suryakumar Yadav leading the Indian team. Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma will be the two wicketkeepers in the squad.
Yadav’s inclusion comes as a boost to the Indian team’s pace attack, especially after he impressed with his speed in the IPL. He played just two List A matches for LSG, claiming six wickets in the process.
