**Ulhasnagar, Maharashtra:** Riya Barde, a Bangladeshi porn star known by aliases Arohi Barde and Banna Sheikh, was arrested in Ulhasnagar by the Hill police for illegally residing in India with forged documents. The 22-year-old allegedly obtained an Indian passport using fake documents and resided in the country with her siblings.

Investigations revealed that Barde’s mother, Ruby Sheikh, married Arvind Barde, an Amravati resident, to gain residency in India. She later adopted the name Anjali and falsely claimed to be from West Bengal, ultimately acquiring an Indian passport using fabricated documents.

Barde’s arrest came after a friend reported her Bangladeshi origins to the police. She was previously detained by the Mumbai police in a prostitution case under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.

Further investigation revealed a possible connection between Barde and Raj Kundra’s production company, with appearances in multiple films, including a project alongside Gehana Vasisth.

The police are actively searching for the remaining members of Barde’s family, including her parents who currently reside in Qatar, her sister Ritu alias Moni Sheikh, and her brother Riyaz Sheikh. A case has been filed against them under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including fraud and forgery.

Authorities are also probing Barde’s alleged involvement with Mumbai-based pornography rackets.
